The NFL adding an extra game in 2021 doesn’t matter?
Did the NFL adding a 15th and 16th game in 1978 matter? You do know some of these backs we call the GOATs played in 14-game seasons, right?

Honestly I think when you break it to a yards per game basis, you even the playong field. Though there are still nuances of era we should take into consideration, too.

You’re comparing season stats so yes the extra game matters for context :unimpressed:

The best I've ever witnessed was prime Adrien Peterson who I think was as good as any running back ever.

:mjlol: Durability. If AP never gets hurt and loses almost two years (and possibly his peak talent level) it's not a conversation. Derek Henry is Frank Gore and Emmit Smith.

Spell those backs' names correctly.

Also, AD was really good and I feel he was better than Henry. But Henry has had a peak that Gore never had.

Henry since he's been in the NFL averages 295 carries 1442 yards and 14 TD. 4.9 YPC.
Adrian Peterson averaged 298 carries 1378 yards and 11 TD. 4.6 YPC

And Henry didn't start as a rookie and split carries his first 3 years. He also got hurt in 2020 and was on pace to have back to back 2000 yard seasons.
Adrian Petersons longest 3 runs, 90, 82, 80.
Derrick Henry's longest 3 runs, 99, 84, 87
Rushing Success Rate: Peterson - 44.8% Henry 51%

Career rushing TD's

Peterson got 120 in 15 Seasons or 184 games
Henry got 122 in 10 seasons or 157 games
I mean I can keep going. but what's the point. :mjpls:

If Henry Started the first 3 years, he would easily have more rushing yards than Peterson right now. He also won the Heisman. Henry has had a better career than Peterson :manny: more durable. and is a better back

Henry actually got 2000 yards in 2020. In 2021, through 8 games he was a hair below a 2000 yard pace.
