i just started this show last week and im about 2/3rd of the way through season 2. Season 1 was pretty good, made me wanna read the book. But i am already having trouble with this show. they wrap it up too neatly. i can tell dexter is gonna get away with this shyt for at least a few more seasons

doing my best to avoid spoilers, but its my own fault if it gets spoiled. show came out forever ago.

im gonna continue on through S4. i kinda wanna see how bad it gets

S5 is the first writer's strike season and it never recovered. One of the biggest fall offs for a show all time

It really is. I'm very forgiving of season 5 because 4 was so good. I went into 5 knowing it wasn't going to be good, and it wasn't, but it could've been worse. Like season 6. There was no excuse for that bullshyt.
Season 7 is decent enough, but then they fumble pathetically in season 8. If you stop right at the end of 4 you won't leave disappointed.
