37 receptions in 9 games.A lot of goofy opinions in here. Banged up early and getting adjusted to playing with a new QB, he's turned it up ever since he got healthy and is closing in on the Cowboys all time TD receptions lead at usain bolt pace (just tied Irvin in 66 less games and is 6 TDs away from #1)
in 9 games:
37 rec. 634 yds 6 Tds
Deandre "real receivers get it done with any QB" Hopkins in 11 games
55 rec. 610 yds 3 Tds
but who is on trial and why @Raul![]()
name these other guys and we'll compare targets37 receptions in 9 games.
That's a month for some other guys.
:yousure:
If he was open he'd have been targetedname these other guys and we'll compare targets

I don't think Dez has dropped off talent wise at all, his low rec totals has more to do with how he's used, how dominant the run game is, and who's throwing to him.
So it's Garrett's fault Dez aint putting up numbers?EXACTLY. Garrett is NEVER going to force feed a WR just so he can get his numbers like Pittsburgh does AB.... AB is great, don't get me wrong
If he was open he'd have been targeted

Dez got the talent.
I ain't sure he got the production.
Antonio Brown 49 more targets
Julio Jones 32 more targets
AJ Green 28 more targets
Amari Cooper 58 more targets
Mike Evans 61 more targets
Odell Beckham 37 more targets
TY Hilton 32 more targets
Larry Fitzgerald...38 more targets
Dez getting outplayed by rookie Michael Thomas (12 more targets)
He's still capable of doing that if healthy. I was talking about these monster 110+ reception 1500+ yard seasons the other elite receivers are putting up these daysSo it's Garrett's fault Dez aint putting up numbers?
Who was the coach when Dez was putting up 1300 yard seasons?
:yousure:
Let's get to choppin this fable

give me the Juelz gif
Clearly we've established being targeted is more than just getting open, and clearly we see he is not going to be a high volume target guy because that is not the Cowboys offense. AB for example has been targeted 10+ times in 9 of 11 games (18 targets in two games respectively), Mike Evans in 9 of 11 games (highs of 18 and 17), AJ in 6 of 9 games, Dez in just 2 of 9 games.
Now since this thread was made in front running fashion (after just 3 games) how about I turn the table and look at production since Dez got back on the field.
Dez - 26 recs, 484 yds, 5 TDs on 49 targets
AB - 45 recs, 551 yds, 5 TDs on 64 targets
Julio - 41 recs, 623 yds, 2 TDs on 65 targets
Amari - 40 recs, 466 yds, 2 TDs on 53 targets
Evans - 41 recs, 571 yds, 6 TDs on 71 targets
Obj - 38 recs, 556 yds, 7 TDs on 58 targets
Ty Hilton, Fitzgerald, a flash in the pan rook with who hasnt sustained excellence at this level yet...dont even make me waste my breathe
So when we look at the large picture, who are we clearly putting over Dez? When we look at the raw numbers who is it? AB, Julio, Mike Evans, OBJ? Who else are you possibly putting over him? This looking like another Raul special, word to the Falcons starting 0-6
So it's Garrett's fault Dez aint putting up numbers?
Who was the coach when Dez was putting up 1300 yard seasons?

This is a production league breh. He's still capable of doing that if healthy. I was talking about these monster 110+ reception 1500+ yard seasons the other elite receivers are putting up these days
