I dont understand why Dez is considered elite period, I've been watching him since 13 and have rarely seen it...hes been passed up by so many receivers in that time

better ball placement would help on alot of those 50/50's..other than that Dez has been pretty much unstoppable on slants this season, but we rarely use them

As an Eagles fan he never came off as "elite" to me...more so a mixture of hype and controversy.....whenever we went up against the cowboys in the past i was more concerned with Witten and Miles Austin than dez 
if you're "elite" you should always be the biggest concern on your team....if other receivers can shine on less talented teams with journey men QBs and swiss cheese o-lines there really is no excuse for this guy.

At this point, he is an older Alshon Jeffery....... The offensive scheme dont fit him no more and Romo has a stronger arm than Dak. He is not going to be successful in the current offensive configuration in Dallas.
Plus Dez is injury prone, slower and makes alot of money.
He will be cut either this offseason or next.
That being said he is still serviceable in the right system where there is a true #1 WR. The days of elite receiver play is way behind him

Put him on a team which utilized his talents properly and threads like this wouldn't exist.
Don't know if he still has the physical tools to be elite but even then there's a disconnect between him and Dak, I've seen him drop passes that nobody should drop but I've also seen passes thrown near him that nobody can catch. He might not get back to being a top 5 receiver but he's good enough to get 900-1000 yds with a better qb. Dak looks like he should have looked last year. Last year he had a monster o-line and a running game to allow him to do the easy things required to be successful such as RGIII before his injuries.
Thank God I benched his ass for Keenan Allen this week
