Doc is a good coach, but he always had something else going on with his family. Thibs on the other hand, I believe is single without kids and obsesses about basketball. Thibs main concern in life is studying tape and gameplanning. Doc's teams always seem undisciplined offensively with turnovers. And that end of the quarter Paul Pierce top of the key isolation play still pisses me off. Players love playing for Doc though. Doc is a very good coach, But I'll take Thibs over him.

I've always liked DOc since he was in Orlando. He's not the best at anything but he's one of the few coaches that's fairly good at everything, such as motivating players, getting quality shots after timeouts.

It's a pure pipe dream, but I almost literally thinking about him in DC. He'd coach up JW/Beal (JW under Doc's tutelage...), instill a high level of professionalism/accountability/effort that Witt has sort of started to do, and be an infinitely better strategist than Witt.

Yeah, he's really that good, way I see it.

Doc is a good coach. He often has good relationships with players and is able to adjust strategies well in game. I've never had a problem with him so far since hes joined the C's.

He's not on the level of a Popovich or a Jerry Sloan but he's a decent coach whose team respect him.

Doc has gotten alot out of some suspect Celtic squads as far as talent goes..

lol at center being overrated in the NFL. most people cant even name one good center in the league. like you ask them whos the best center and theyll stare at you like you talkin about, centers are in the NBA
