I see people saying teams should give up their future for Mitchell, but is he worth it? Would you rather have him long term over players like Zion, Ingram, Lamelo, Ant?

Giannis
Embiid
Jokic
Kawaii
Bron
Curry
Tatum
KD
Ja
Butler
AD
Luka
Klay
Kyrie
Jaylen
Trae
Booker
CP3
Dame
PG

Ant?
KAT?
Murray?
Harden?
Derozan?
Lavine?
Ingram?
Zion?
Lamelo?
Beal?

Just off the list in OP I would take 20 players over him.

As a knicks fan. I would never want my team gutted again after the fukkery that was the melo trade, but spida a straight up hooper and is a great asset on any roster.

Ant? Nope
KAT? Nope
Murray? Nope
Harden? Current form Harden, nope
Derozan? Long term, yes
Lavine? Nope
Ingram? Nope
Zion? Nope
Lamelo? Nope
Beal? Debatable, but nope

His offense isn't all worldy enough to mask the fact that he's a below average defender and average as a defense. Even a poor defender like Trae Young is at least elite on offense and as a passer to help mask those deficiencies. I would take Jrue Holiday over Mitchell. Before dudes try and insist otherwise, Jrue Holiday outplayed Middleton this past season and you know damn well that you would take him over Mitchell.

This site is shameless as fukk bruh.

The current trade market and the teams GMs request dictates a team "giving up their future" for dude, it's not "people".

Gobert went for 4 picks and swaps but I don't see is he top 20 threads.

Bucks gave up 4 draft picks and swaps for fukkin Jrue Holiday but he didn't have a is he top 20 thread.

Yall so fukking weird bruh.

Neither of those players are hyped/were up by the masses as Mitchell is nor potentially being traded to a big market team.

I made this thread based on a real life conversation with friends. Plus shyt I've seen on twitter. I've seen Mitchell called a superstar. Gobert and Jrue I've never seen called superstars.

On a good day he can crack the top 20, but he’s not consistently a top 20 player.
