Subpar quality- it’s better to stream or download flacs

I like my hard drive space, what I look like having a bunch of music on my hard drive or paying for a stream to listen to some album I'ma only listen to once ?

My OCD collecting days are over having hard drives full of shyt just to have hard drives full of shyt...

Unless it is some supreme high quality production that is on some classical music type shyt...I am good.

I got good headphones...there is really no difference between a YouTube mp3 and a flac file for me...

I thought so too until I got Apple Music ... It’s a clear difference...

You can definitely tell the difference. You must never have heard some of these booboo recordings out there.

That depends on the mixer and production and the headphones...

The difference between Flac and mp3 is placebo...

There are producers ripping samples from YouTube on major labels...

Drake's You the Best for example...

And nobody can tell...

I have very neutral headphones cause I like to hear my music uncolored...

If you have headphones that color music and it's bass boosted and etc...

Cause most headphones are designed to boost the bass cause bass and loudness makes people think music is good.

The genre of music is gonna affect how it sounds more than whether or not it's a Flac or mp3

In blindtests most people can't tell

Matter if fact...this reminds me of the FL Studio vs. other DAWs...where people used to say that other music production programs put out higher quality sounds because if the audio engine or whatever...

And that was obviously proven false

But since people pay 900 dollars for a DAW and FL Studio is like 200 with free upgrades...it must be inferior

Download a Flac album and mp3...same album and shuffle it and see if you can tell...

Literally pay $9.99 for YouTube Red and have a mixtape app(Audiomack or something similar) and find a few download site online.

Google Play even let's you keep the music you listened to in your playlist without paying for it.
Yeah I believe I uploaded my entire library on Google play from the jump dating at least back to 2011. Must of had over 20k songs

I used to download heavy when I was a broke ass teenager. Now I got the disposable income to afford copping a couple of albums, I do so. I only download music that can't be bought or is unreasonably expensive, like rare CDs. Old Ruthless Records shyt for example is really hard to get hold of and you're looking at minimum $70 for an unused CD :childplease: fukk I look like spending that much?
