Go talk to Chris Brown if we're really going there.

That honey rabbit is gonna get his shyt ate fukking with the wolves in L.A. with all that banging and barely escaping fight shyt.
He's included. I'm not just talking about Drake. A lot of nikkas is like that. The only nikkas who still Glorify and fall in love with the hood after they make it are the nikkas who ain't from it. Because when you're from it, and make it out, 9/10 that nikka doesn't wanna go back. Because he knows how it is to wake up, live and sleep there, and that's different from visiting. Visiting the hood, you'll love it because you see the perks and not the drama. But the burb kids who grew up without hood culture, that sat on their porches thinking what it was like, get older and wanna involve themselves with it. Why? I don't know breh.

Exactly. It's funny how people try to correlate having more money as putting a gap between an individual and street activity.

Maybe in a normal environment but in an industry like Hip-Hop filled street artists and a lot fans from those same streets, money empowers these guys to mob up and put goons on the payroll. Especially if the artist is a softer dude (n/h) who knows he runs the risk of being pressed the more money & success he gains.

A fake thug with money is way more dangerous than the average broke street dude because the fake dude will do ANYTHING to earn that rep he doesn't have and has financial resources at his disposal to make it happen.
It's like Pac he started his rap career in tha right direction

then somewhere down tha line tha industry made him self destructive

if you listen to Drakes new mixtape it sounds like he's making a step towards that path

he's probably going through a phase, I feel like pac wuz too, unfortunately Pac didn't make it out that phase cuz he wuz gunned down at a way younger age than drake is now

Drake been making a lot of slick drug references since Started from the Bottom. A lot of talk about being up and down the highway, in the basement flippin packs, give the work to Chubbs, etc.

That boy better start actin like he heard of Hip-Hop police

All of it. Talking about bodies, trying out guns, 360 with wrist and shyt, cookin drugs, picking up drugs, he talks about drugs and hood shyt a lot.

I just hope he keeps it in the music and doesn't really immerse himself in that shyt because a lot of nikkas ain't built for it.

:beli: You're the GOAT Stan, I'll give you that. And I understand

He's not using those terms in the context of "deer hunting" or whatever you're talking about.
He's using it in a Hood context.

Even on that PND Debut, the verse on "Over Here" I think it was. He said "Word gets around that a Bugatti, is in the projects, the boy home" when you ain't from thatcor on Tuscan Leather when he talks about sending for people, and smelling like bricks, It just sounds like he's embracing violence, and drugs and hood shyt. And I hope is quest for authenticity doesnt grt him hurt because a lot of nikkas get hurt for tryna be too down. He'll be fine though, more likely than not.

Does that mean Kendrick is BIG?:ohhh:

Pac and Big was friends like Kendrick and Drake was.:dwillhuh:

On his Control verse, Kendrick said a line from Jay-Z. The line Jay said was "Who's the best MC, Biggie, Jay-Z Or Nas?" :patrice:

Kendrick replaced his name with Biggie on that line! :lupe:

He knew Drake was trying to be Pac from the beginning!!:merchant:
