Is Drake “iceman” one of the most anticipated rap albums in history?

:yeshrug:I think Iceman will still do great especially with Drake stans. I mean at the end of the day he’s still Drake. But homie doesn’t seem confident at all.
That trickles down to his fans as well. I can even feel it in the tone of his fans that they’re at a crossroads and have damn near given up.

If Drake don't move some units it's over for rap , at least commercially.
No, rap isn’t going anywhere ever but hopefully the era of Drake type artists is over so we can get back to real artists that aren’t just a face with a writing camp and machine behind him, genuine artists will always rise eventually

I need this nikka Gordo/Carnage to be as far away from Drake as possible. Enough.

Has Drake really just lost all executive function of his forebrain?

I truly do not understand these decisions. These fukking low rate untalented pieces of shyt artists and producers.

It’s like he is just immune to productivity.

I'm not even trolling when I say that I often forget that Drake and J Cole are planning to drop albums.

Drake's rollout for Iceman has been awful since August. His post WDIM songs have been mid and unremarkable. They sounded like throwaways that he was dropping to test the waters and see the reception. Once the song with Yeat got trashed across the board, he stopped dropping singles and people seemed to have moved on outside his stan base.

Honestly, if I were Drake, I wouldn't include any of the singles and loosies he dropped. Not even WDIM which lost a lot of momentum. Those other tracks were forgettable slop that came and went.

Unlike Wayne who completely lost his musical ear, Drake still has a chance to make something as least on par with Her Loss but most of the songs he dropped in 2025 were mediocre slop. It's telling that Drake dropped more songs than most rappers this year yet his fans agree with him about the rap climate being "dry" despite all his efforts.
