Is Drake really losing favor from the public? He last three songs have more dislikes than likes.

The tide is turning and honestly if he’s not releasing straight heat he needs to keep it.

He seriously should take a break, if he keeps trying to feed everyone mircowave music it will only get worse

Give people a break so they can actually miss you, but sadly UMG didn’t give him all that money to have him chilling so I expect to see him popping up throughout his he summer and fall…

The crazy part is that for every move that Drake makes, there is a Kendrick bar from the last month that applies to it

I think Drake is in trouble but I’m not going to put a ton of stock in the YouTube thing. A lot of it is Kendrick stans spamming the comments. If that Sexxy Red track doesn’t chart or charts very low that’s the first sign that the empire is crumbling. Yes the song is trash but that never stopped a lot of his other songs charting high.

Drake never should have responded. So many people barely knew anything about Drake but liked his music. Now a lot of them think he’s a complete creep and weirdo.
He should have known that the more you know about Drake the less you like him. It’s why so many hardcore hip-hop fans hold him in complete disdain.

He shoulda pulled a J Cole

Rappers don’t last as long as Drake has and he’s not at the point where the people who hate him still hate him, and a lot of people are tired of him.

He keeps attaching himself to Sexy Red like she’s actually going to be running the game or something. You have to make better decisions when you’re a vet, he’s not making good decisions. He should’ve dropped out the beef before shyt got out of control. This ain’t Meek Mill you’re going against lol.

Yep she's just the flavor of the month, like the city girls or cardi b

I personally never liked Drake, I always thought he was a try hard cornball, and once I found out about his ghostwriters it was really a wrap for me from a hip -hop perspective, especially when his stans were calling him a goat and top 5

Drake needs to do what Jay did when Nas got at him…

Disappear for a couple years and come back stronger.

The more that Drake remains in the open, his armor would finally destroyed.

Hopefully Kenny or Pusha can hit him in the heart and obliterate his career. Or he could die slow next to 40
a couple of years? The blueprint 2 came out the very next year :mjlol:

You could make the same case for the Pusha T thing. He could have ignored infrared or responded indirectly. But it’s hard for me as a hip hop fan to roll with that. I respect his willingness to engage.

I spend a lot of time in kids parks in a non creepy way in that I have an 8 year old daughter. I know and am friendly with many of the moms of the neighbourhood. Most are in their 30s and have listened to Drake their entire adult lives. Start taking to them about ghostwriters and culture vulture issues and they’ll give you a blank stare. Let them hear over and over that he likes young girls and hangs with sex criminals and they’ll never look at him the same. I hear Drake jokes constantly amongst them lately. Can’t put it back in the bottle.

I mean I’m not gonna say I called it but…this is what I was talking about when his camp was trying tell US he had a hit record dropping

Take a deep look at Drake’s last few hits. Ft sexy Red, ft SZA, ft J Cole, ft 21 Savage…..and he’s had an uncharacteristic run of wack singles: Circo Loco sampling on ‘one more time’ …2 Sexy sampling Right said Fred …a complete dud house music album.

There is a LOT riding on this record. He’s put ALL his eggs in the ‘I’m the most popular’ basket

And here:

I don’t think they or fans realize how fickle people attention spans are now. The masses aren’t really hip hop fans. They not finna expertly judge multiple round war. It’s whose song ring off most ala Like That.

If Kendrick does what he's supposed to, people will not want to hear ANOTHER drake diss track

So I said ‘diss’ track, but you can just say track period. His voice is growing stale.

Drake benefits a lot from ‘well it’s Drake so I’m gonna like it’. 2 Sexy and circo loco are 2 God awful songs. People rocked with it bc it was Drake. And his other hits leaned on other people. Now, when Drake is NOT the sheep pic as what’s popular, he’s losing a lot of the fickle wave riding fans

And that album was shaky. He had to do the fake retirement thing to get people to buy in again. Drake needs to do something similar or introspective.

I think he should go back to his so far gone roots, that's what put him on in the 1st place. Tough guy Drake who sneak diss rappers and their girls has run it's course.
