kobe made all defensive team 12 times in his 20 year career 9 being first 3 being second. Dwade made 3 defensive teams, Lebron made 6. Kobe was the best offensively and defensively. The mindset was different. When Bron and Wade got to the league they was chasing Kobe but Kobe was chasing Mike. See in order to catch Kobe you had to put in work on both ends of the court.
Kobe has more defensive teams than MJ.
I’ll take it a step further if Kobe gets 6 rings he would have a legitimate claim against Jordan as the GOAT.
Oh so we're pretending Kobe was definitely a better defender than Wade today. It's 2025 and we're still not being honest with ourselves huh?
I told you Kobe gets the edge because longevity and health. So you're not getting any argument with me about longevity based achievements.

Kobe was a better ball defender he could guard 1-3 Dwade couldn’t. DWade was better around the rim and blocking than Kobe as well as help defense. Kobe was a greater defender longer in his career than Wade and it’s because of injuries. I’m going to say this Kobe was levels above DWade.. but DWade was levels above Melo. I think Dwade is the reason Lebron learned how to win. Yeah if h Would’ve stayed healthy his career he would’ve been right there with Kobe at the end.

Idk how you can watch Wade and Harden and think they were the same caliber of player. Harden at his best wouldve lost on those Heat teams that won titles.

TMac didn’t win a playoff series until his final season in the nba. Dwade won his first series as a rookie. That comparison is disrespectful. I think TMac was good but he wasn’t a winner. Dwade walked into the league a leader.
