Its been a minute since I played but yes. The game is basically Euro Truck Simulator in space but with firepower. You can drug smuggle, mine, collect bounties, and just travel for the hell of it. The only gripe is that the game's controls are atrocious, and you will need a flight setup. Other than that, once you get adapted to the weird controls, its a pretty chill game.
There's also an expansion pack where you can get out of your spaceship one some FPS shyt. Its damn near Star Citizen without the money laundering.

If you're going to play on console just know that they stop development on the console versions. Won't get new content.
