I dont fukk with any of his music past 2003. 8 Mile era Em was a monster, fire lyrics & hella swagger in his flows, then he devolved into a stone cold weirdo with awkward flow patterns & formulaic as fukk motivational anthems.
White ppl always throw his lyrical miracle shyt in my face & try to browbeat me with his super intricate rhyme schemes & all that but if I was to play post 2003 Eminem at the barbershop or a bbq, nikkas would look at me like I was cornball. If I played his new shyt in the whip & pulled up next to Black ppl at a traffic light, Id turn that shyt the fukk down out of embarrassment.
I dont know any nikkas that fukked with him at all after Eminem Show, minus Bad Meets Evil (and it was Royce who made that album fire, not Em)
Dude could be the GOAT technical rapper but his song-making ability & musicianship been pure ass for over a decade.

He could have been, but no.

But I don't see how "club bangers" factors into any rappers placement In the 'Top 5.'

Lose yourself is probably his best song. That song still goes hard today.

The rest of his shyt is corny now or pop-trash
