What makes you skilled?
Rapping fast?
I'm impressed with dudes who say more with less. Hov. Drake. Kanye. etc.
There are some fast spitters out there like Twista who kill it...and fast spitters that kinda lack on content like Busta Rhymes (lately).
Do you want stories?
Metaphors?
Rare punch lines?
Things you need a dictionary/history book for?
I might piss some people off, but Big Sean reminds me of Eminem punchline wise. A lot of the lines are punchline heavy but they manage to kinda hit you in a manner that makes you go "Oh damn"...almost ludacris like.

I still enjoy eminem's music.
I just do not confuse who it is marketed for, and who it is not marketed for.
Eminem is carni horrorcore pop rap.
Which I have no problem listening to.
as long as eminem stays in his relative genre,.
Which he typically does.
If he does venture out of his genre.
He usually finds a strength skillwise to amplify and execute at a high level.
the problem is his genre is pretty much his own personal soundscape built genre.
Which I am glad exists and is offered as an alternative.
to more street influenced horror core called trap music.
As trap music is horrorcore with street tales of sex and ociopathic violence, drug use and sales.
Whereas eminem's brand of carni horrorcore.
Is more devil's reject clown character theme song based material.
with content that ranges from slasher flick, to Stephen king regular world issue horror.
Backed by world issue Stephen king or alternative content from time to time.
Which is what gives eminem his consistent balance.
That pretty much puts him above criticism.
Eminem, does not have the vocal tonality or aptitude to make black soul music.
So, asking him to make a record or appease those fans is out of order.
Asking him to make urban based black music is also criminal as well.
Plus, stretches him to far past the breaking point of who he is artisitically and skill wise.
As eminem will never have the night hawk smooth vocal tone like rakim, LL, bdk, iu, etc.
To be successful making that type of music.
He is wrongly criticized for not making, generally.
Eminem should not be held up to that standard or type of music.
As emcee wise he was never going to be and really never tried to be that type of artist.
As that is out of his scope skillwise, and content wise in basic execution.
Only white cat who has a smooth enough flow to pull that off.
Plus has the background of being ghostwritten, ramped and coached up is Paul wall.
Yet, Paul wall is a voice over talent with writer and used to be backed by one of his region hof greatest talents ever.
So comparing Paul wall's ability to make that type of record.
to eminem's inability to make that type of record is wrong and offkey as well.
Eminem is pretty much his own self contained genre.
So I hold him to that standard.
I ony criticize eminem when his clarity, bar to bar and delivery wise is sacrificed.
Yet, he has his own genre to create what he wants.
Where you may have to dig to understand what his influence or scope dirctionwise was.
Most of it, I typically get, as a black guy.
Then, again I am an extreme exception as a black guy.
Like eminem is an extreme exception as a music artist.
So hopefully people learn to understand where eminem fits as an extreme exception.
Plus, stop trying to be critical of eminem's artistry.
