The real question is, who's gonna stop Interscope and cac publications from declaring MMLP one of, if not, the greatest rap release of all time?

You know it's coming. I believe Rolling Stone has already done that.

MTV Europe did that way back in 2002. Top 10 rap albums of all time, Em had SSLP at 10, and MMLP at 1.

No. This album was made to target middle school suburban kids who think smoking weed in the school bathroom is hardcore. Em can rhyme, that was never an issue. Looking back the whole thing was a corny troll job. Dissing pop stars, the fakket talk, Dissing Kim(BnC 97 was way better) gay skits, blond hair. Not to mention terrible features from snoop and bizarre.

:mjlol: at anyone thinking this out dated :trash: is a classic

The way i am (even then the beat on this shyt is wack as fukk) and stan are probably the only decent songs on here, 2/18 :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Sure he's spitting on tracks like kill you and criminal but what good is that when the content is some wacky, shock raps :scust::comeon::trash::camby:

LMAO. But that's MTV Europe.

I'm saying - across the board. XXL, Source, Hot 97, Slate, GQ etc. Interscope's been able to get unprecedented glowing reviews for Kendrick.

10,20 years from now, MMLP will be the new Thriller.

album is horrible. eminem has been making terrible music for most of his career and i understand one being fooled by mtv/magazines and cacs saying this was a classic when you were younger but once you grow up and start appreciating music and don't need propaganda to tell you what's true or not, to still think of it as a classic is an active attack and insult at your own potential intelligence.

i mean, the shyt is full of verses like this:

why would anyone go back and listen to this corny garbage i honestly don't know.

Lol @anybody trying to convince me that an album that sold 32 million copies world wide, win hip hop or just album of the year period in every award show at the time, consist with some of the best songs of this millennium, and rhyme that can't be duplicated isn't a classic.:blessed:

fukk out of Here.

Maybe off impact. Eminem is an influential rapper adn this is his best album so for that reason I can agree.

But is the music classic? Hell no. And I used to love that album. It has aged terribly. The subject matter is beyond corny to the point its embarassing. The beats haven't stood up at all. Flow and lyrical skill wise it's still a sharp as hell. From that era around the turn of the millennium - Black on Both Sides, Supreme Clientele, Blueprint all sound way better today.

i can play a few songs off it but i couldn't front to back it like i do with so many other albums. def not a classic & def not top 100 albums or anything lol. it must be a generational thing if you think this is a classic
