I dont know about Minors, but I do know every friend I had who went to Law School and currently doing something with their Law degree were either an English or a History major in undergrad, because it is so easy to get straight A's and it is relevant Law since most of Law is reading and writing.

minors should be used to enhance what major you are. Often times, shouldn’t be in the same realm of your major.

you should also be specific. What specific English do you want to minor in?
