I have to agree with you on this one. The most successful non-famous black folk live below the mason. Even in DC, I see nothing but black folk driving luxury whips and living in nice houses. Plus the chicks are nice and are actually about something-at least some of them.
Seeing any city's black population confined in the hood is just lame, especially in the post-gangsta rap era.

I don't get how anybody could leave Cali. How the fukk can you go from the best weather in the country to snow storms and hurricanes and shyt? The extra cost of living is worth the great weather year round. Them mufukkas in the south is just toooooooooo different for me to live there. Mufukkas dream about living in this state. It would take a Milli to get me to move elsewhere.
Lived in Sacramento my whole life and been thinking for a while to move out of Cali. Really liked Dallas when I visited there a few years back but it feels like every other person I've known has moved from Nor Cal to DFW in the past five years. Its crazy.
Sac is cool, but I would love to be around more young blacks doing something with their lives than being a statistic . Being in the most integrated area in the country doesn't mean its the best place to be socially either.
