This exactly, though I rated it a 8. Too much low brow, shock value childish shyt brought down the quality of the movie to me.

Very good movie to me. Ultimately I think it wins more because movies are typically so cookie cutter these days, so just thinking outside the box alone gain points. It’s getting more and more rare that a movie even comes out that I care to see.

Funny thing is whether you like this movie will fall on whether you like a little martial arts sprinkled into your dramatic movies or a little drama sprinkled into your martial arts movies. I dont want to put anyone in a box but Im missing old school kick ass Michelle Yeoh. Still happy that she’s in on the Crazy Rich Asians new-wave Asian movie trend tho because she deserves continued success. I just miss Heroic Trio era Michelle Yeoh…

Finally watched this earlier today

At first I was like

But it quickly picked up and it was an interesting take on relationships, pain, regret, empathy and love.

Solid movie

I’d say it’s an 8 out of 10
