Is Evil Within comparable to Dead Space 2 quality wise?

Have you finished MGSV? Worth wasting time on it?
MGSV is my GOTY. I'm a stan for the series though so I'm bias on that. Its an incredible game though.
As far as The Evil Within, I like it a lot. It gets a lot of hate online because of the piss poor story and some people don't like the controls, but IMO the graphics are great, the environments are creepy and the gameplay overall is solid. Personally it reminds me of a creepier version of Resident Evil 4.
It's worth wasting your time. You don't have to do the extra missions in chapter 2. Still enjoyed the game

I think Dead Space 2 is better and is the proper AAA game. The Evil Within is still pretty dope and the closest thing to a survival horror game you'll find these days.
People didn't like the controls but I think they were intentionally designed that way to make it harder.

Evil within was mediocre at best. I was hyped as hell for that game and never even bothered finishing it.
It was a bad attempt at remaking RE4. Mikami has fallen off.
