Evil within was mediocre at best. I was hyped as hell for that game and never even bothered finishing it.
It was a bad attempt at remaking RE4. Mikami has fallen off.
I hate bethesda and they dont get criticized nearly enough for the slimey, shady shyt they and their parent company do, ie. What they did to The developers of "prey."Breh you cant really put it on Mikami. When he went to Bethesda he was under the impression he could make the open world sci fi game that he'd been wanting to make for a while, then they basically forced him to do a horror game and the result was evil within.
That aint Mikami though. He might have had some input, but that was really a Suda 51 joint.I hate bethesda and they dont get criticized nearly enough for the slimey, shady shyt they and their parent company do, ie. What they did to The developers of "prey."
But shadows of the damned was mediocre too.

Game felt like a RE4 wannabe with spike tv humour and Im sure he had input as a producer. That aint Mikami though. He might have had some input, but that was really a Suda 51 joint.
Never crashed on me. But my laptop elite. Upload more rammore people need to call them out for their shyt. Their QA is nonexistent but people give them a pass because their games are huge. But linear as fukk Evil Within has more problems than any bethesda rpg ive ever played. Never had a game crash on me so much.
I thoroughly enjoyed evil within. It had everything. Boss fights. Tension. A house of horrors feel. Good campaign length. Good enemy variation.I said this on the RE4 thread, the evil within is trash.
I really want a detailed explanation by @Mowgli as to why this trash game is better than re4.
Dead space 2 is a classic IMO and one thing that EA did right last gen.
