How do you feel? I dont think hes one of the GOAT rappers but I feel his relevancy in the game isn't talked about enough

Very much so. Had a lot of hits. A lot of bangers. A classic (to me) in Jose Cartagena.

The moment you think he washed. He drops something like all the way up.

He always had a bit of that Bleek syndrome in that he was never THE biggest star in his city at any given time. Although he had hits and was all over media he was never anyones favorite rapper.

He definitely was someone I started checking for though. Darkside was dope too.

Something has to be said for a cat who can rap alongside the likes of KRS-One, Big L, and Big Pun in the 90s then rap alongside Wayne, Kanye, and Ross 15-20 years later and fit in both eras.

I'd say Joe is right there with Jay-Z as far as being able to stay relevant and transcend eras of Hip-Hop. He doesn't have the sales but Joe has one of the GOAT runs of hit records in the game spanning a couple of decades.
