Funny, because I live i ncalifornia and literally every place i've been here ive seen white people, mexicans, and asians saying nikka with no problem in the presence of black people.
That's not "New York".
If the issue of whether non black people are able to say nikka is an issue centralized in New York can you explain to me how it's managed to become a topic of discussion all across the country? Why whenever i've gotten into discussions with black people from other states online outside of thecoli they've been able to give their two cents on the issue with people saying nikka and have come to say that they just use it casually and no one cares?
Doesn't make any sense, you can go to just about any state and you'll find black people who have dealt with this issue giving their perspective on it, how can they have a perspective on it if it doesn't occur there?
And like I said, it occurs everywhere, but that doesn't mean everyone tolerates it everywhere, if someone somewhere gets punked because they say nikka and you see it and take that to mean we don't do that around here, that doesn't mean two towns or cities over their aren't a group of white kids using nikka in their every day vocabulary.
(and once again, this is not an endorsement of it, I'm black and I've never used nikka as a way to refer to people, just doesn't sound right to me, i'm just telling you what happens)
You read what you want like most ppl do on these sites. Your talking about California when I said certain places in the south. You must have looked at my screen name or location to get the California thing. I don't rely on people's second knowledge especially when it from people on the internet that I've never personally interacted with. I have family down south. I've lived in Texas and Mississippi. I've been to Louisiana Oklahoma and Alabama. Your black but are you African American? I know West Indians Africans and Afro Europeans view the word differently. My people are descendants of slaves and they use it. Slaves used it and so did their children. This apart of our/my culture. Just cause white/Asians use it doesn't mean they don't get checked in California or New York. Half the shyt your wrote wasn't readable and didn't make sense.

What the fukk?
I mentioned California because I live here.
Didn't look at anything under your name, thought you lived in the south.
And you did say certain places, thought you said the south in general.
I'm black, that should be enough for you (yes as in african american), and it wouldn't matter if I wasn't because you could easily go on twitter or Instagram and see black people joking around with white people using nikka in ways you and other people on this site would disapprove of.
Black Americans largely use it as a catch all term to refer to people, like dude.
And on the bolded, in both of my posts I said that people say it everywhere but that doesn't mean certain people in those areas don't reject it.

Whatever I said in that post isn't how I feel about it anyways, it's just the way people use it.

Teamed up with so many cats before they blew up (Pun, Khaled just to name a couple off top), has shown ability to make heavy lyrical shyt for the heads and radio/club bangers for the parties, has been able to maintain relevancy for 23+ years and counting (not many people can say this)

How do you feel? I dont think hes one of the GOAT rappers but I feel his relevancy in the game isn't talked about enough

I was just thinking the same thing a couple days ago. He's very underrated to me. I heard a lot of ghostwriting rumours (e.g. Pun writing for him) but I'm not sure to what extent that was... maybe someone can fill me in

Jealous Ones Envy is is a great album. I'm not really a Joe fan like that, but J.O.E is that joint.

Yeah you got it. It might be the most underrated album of all time to me

1's for the cash, 2 for every blunt's ash
3's for all the 40 brews corner crews devour
4 for the drugs, sex and power
I be the top dollar scholar, rockin gold collas
while you're tryin to sip the juice i'm tryna swalow (nh)

That shyt was one of the hardest lines to me for some reason

Production was on point that whole album too

Don't expect any receipts on that...just conjecture.

Joe said pun taught him how to write better...but to conclude pun wrote his raps?

Rae said he influenced ghosts pen game back in the day...but I wouldn't assume he wrote ghost's shyt.
