I play one of FF7, FFT, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden 2 and Xenogears every year, 5 year rotation goin on of pure piff. These 5 games are like aged Don Perignon, the pinnacle of gaming, before the big budget studios ruined it and started focusing mostly on graphics while neglecting gameplay and storylines. Maybe I should stop playing them and completely forget them and then 15 years down the line perhaps Alzeimer would kick in and they'd feel fresh all over again.

So yall gonna shyt on me over a game that came out when i was born? How am i supposed to know about it

I never tried playing FF7 until like 2009, I had a PS1 but my first Final Fantasy game was 9 and progressed since then. I can't get over how badly the graphics aged so I never played past an hour of it, but I can still play the hell out of Chrono Trigger for some reason. If you really want to experience the hype, go for it... but personally I like the PS2 era games better. (though I hated 12's battle system, 10-2 shyts all over it imo).

I should try to actually finish 7, but I hate having to force myself to play a game......

First time posting.

I tried to beat FF7 without no memory card(I did not have a memory card that time).

So I just keep dying and starting all over again.

I never played another Final Fantasy game after that.

The game becomes infinitely better once you get out of... Midgar or whatever it's called. Kind of a chore before, a masterpiece after.

maybe it's just me but i really liked the midgar parts at the start of the game, it felt like the city had a life of its own and there was so much secret shyt hidden away in it

the honey bee inn :wow:

the sector 5 slums with my man sleeping in the pipe :wow:

7th heaven :wow:

the shinra headquarters :wow:

the gym with the brolic homos :wow:

i agree that the game really takes off once you leave midgar, but it was a really vibrant place and whenever i replay ff7 i spend a lot of time wandering around trying to find little shyt i might have missed there

i know 1 playthrough i spent so much time in bone village tryna find the key that lets you go back into midgar, come to find out there wasn't shyt to do there once you went back :dead:

as for the OP, yes nikka finish it...top 5 RPG ever and probably the game i've beaten the most amount of times, either that or Star Ocean: The Second Story

Yass bytch yass.

At least finish the first disc. IIRC it ends with a major plot twist that people still reference. If you're not feelin the game by then, then it's just not for you.

do the whole thing without using KotR

You act like it's necessary to the plot. If you don't know about it, you probably won't get it.

I was using that shyt on cactus island. my roomie was getting pissed because it was such a long summon. I'm the type of nikka to BahumutZERO on a chocobo just for shyts and giggles.

I'm tryna be the boshy now tho.
