His last Classic imo....he revisted everything he was known for and joints were bangers for days...his energy was still high and lyrically he was killing shyt sum verses even reminded me of Supreme Ghost...he was in his bag of tricks and succeeded...More fish has sum shyt too...I hold Pretty Toney above Fishscale tho solely based on the soul samples...I'm a dusty soul Nikka at heart plus add on the 718 Theodore album and shyts undeniable !

This is hands down my favorite GFK album. IMO not a skiable track. Ironman and SC were before my time but I love em 2. Does this LP get the respect it deserves?

Yes it's a classic. Stark is top 5. And it's still not better than Supreme Clientele, which is saying something

Anytime 9 Milli Bros comes on while I'm working out, shyt gets me amped.

Yup this is how I feel about it.

Not quite a classic for me but I love ghost.

I’m glad this topic got posted, I’m gonna go listen to it again

I think it's better than Wallets.

As much as I love Iron Man, I like it more than Iron Man.

Ohh word? Let's hear it...

I've told it on here a couple of times. Summer '05, when I was living in London, my people had a record store in the heart of downtown where they used to do in-stores. I saw everyone from 'Late Registration' era Kanye and Kool Keith to pre strung out Amy Winehouse perform there.

Anyway - Ghost was in town and basically EVERYONE in the scene was trying to get down to the store to see him. My boy who is a pretty well known producer in UK hip hop circles, decides to roll down and give Ghost a beat tape. I drive. We get 3/4 of the way through the journey across the city, and he realizes he forgot the CD :stopitslime: .

He says "Fukk it - let's just go to the store." I was pissed, but turned the whip around - drove back to the crib, pick it up and drive down.

Ghost performs. kills it. As he's leaving my guy hands Ghost the CD. That's that.

Six months later, my boy's DJ gets a call from - I think it was Big O - like "Ghost has your CD - he recorded to a bunch of the tracks - we need to find your boy to get him to the studio." We were :mindblown: :mindblown: :mindblown: :mindblown:

I think we heard an early leak of the album - it still had the OG sample on 'The Champ'. I sat in the whip a year or so later, when I played that song with my bredrin who's house Lewis was staying at, when he got the CD to Ghost. It's still one of the most :wow: experiences I've ever had.

We used to freestyle to that same beat. They did 'Outta Town shyt' together too around the same time.
