Is Food stamps still embarrassing to receive?

I had the GOAT breakfasts and lunches because of it

I wish I could still qualify

I hate paying for food.

I've been flat broke for years, with varying levels of pots to piss in. Never got the stamps. You won't see me in a line with a coupon or stamp. I will spend me last on

pasta and black beans before I use that shyt. Sure I pay into it, but nah, it's feels like giving up for me. I would feel differently if I was a royal screwup who had kids I couldn't afford,

but since I had the foresight to avoid that, I won't be touching them shyts anytime soon.

Nah cuz they are available to college kids now, so its more accepting and actually encouraged (no taxes on food and free money every month for groceries goes a long way amongst the college crowd)

It helps that it actually looks like a debit card now instead of stamps.

Its so accepting that I use to buy food stamps (food stamp card) from people at my old job.

Man the problem is that is not embarrassing anymore. Like at all, people are legit jealous of people that get food stamps ebt cards. No one wanted to be caught in the store and there parent pulled out that book of brightly color stamps back in the day

I see nothing wrong with people getting them. If you need them, use them. Just get off that shyt fast as you can. Last thing anyone should do is stay dependent on them.
