thats funny you just told that story about him living in NC, because not even 2 weeks ago a dude whos been around the industry for some time was telling me Fred and a few investors up here opened a skate park in Charlotte back in the day(which, believe it or not- i actually stopped in and skated/filmed back in i wanna say 91 on a road trip..).. and, Fred just closed the park and dipped with all the money back down to Fla..

and, soon after, financed his music future..

ill get more details on it, but from what i do understand- is they've(LB) never come through Charlotte on tour.. you might wanna ask a die hard LB fan about the shows, but I really wouldnt doubt this story.. i remember the park, and i definitely remember it shutting down outta nowhere..

meh, you could pick any song before 1970 that has more rhythmic vocals rather than melodic & say it was rapping. Walk This Way was originally put out in 1975 & the Run DMC is practically unchanged. would you say Aerosmith was rapping?

Fred Durst as been rapping since the 80s believe it or not...my boss at my old job grew up with him in North Carolina...they was best friends...she used to even take him to school everyday when she got her license cause he was younger by like a year...she even showed me pics of when they was younger...

he was basically the "rapper" in LB. I never really cared for his music, but I wouldn't call him a "non-rapper"

Dont hate on Limp Bizkit brehs...$3 bill was a good album for that time and had more punk/hiphop/metal influence than anything else after that...they went mainstream its like that sometimes.

Dont get caught on what came on mtv...nu metal was prob the most innovate genre we seen (94-2000/maybe 2001) in a while and a good fusion when done right. It's all about Rhythm.
