It’s not even the money, so much as it’s the image it conveys and how off brand this is. This is akin to NBA Youngboy doing a Sprite commercial.

Rappers make they money off touring and merch, not of streams that's the label money. You just a get plaque to hang on the wall. Future hasn't been a tour since 2019 with Meek Mill and most of those dates got cancelled because they couldn't sell enough tickets.
He dropped an Album last year but he couldn't do anything off it because of the Pandemic.
He's just staying a float. I'm sure he has to make 40-50k a month to keep everyone right with 10 kids.
A lot of nikkas can't go more than 2 weeks without a paycheck. He probably has gone 2 years without making the monthly bag that he used to make in 2019.
