Edit: side note but my pops told me when I was little that it takes more strength to walk away from a fight than it does to win one. It was a while before I could really understand and appreciate just how much wisdom was in those words, pops was far from perfect but once life had humbled me accordingly I realized he was spittin with that one.

A lot of people equate violence and mental instability with toughness, when in reality..the only reason you're like that is because you don't have the mental fortitude to deal with everyday life.
