Is Geno really better than Vick?

If Vick is better at this point it's a marginal difference, certainly not enough to bench Geno for a 34 year old Vick

The Jets are not in WIN NOW mode. So Vick, at this age, may be slightly better than Geno but the difference doesnt warrant delaying Geno's development further in order to win now with a Vick who has about 2 decent years (3 at most) left in the tank.

Tbh, if I were Vick I would take on my new role in full stride. His career is what it is at this point. He's not winning any titles, at least as a starter anyways. Backup QB is the best job. Hold a clipboard and collect checks, hopefully he didn't endure too much damage and he can still enjoy life in retirement. He's making 4 million guaranteed . 4x what Geno Smith is making, fukk the bullshyt.

I see them trying to put Geno to the test and having Vick as someone with similar skillset/game to kinda guide him through the season. What doesnt make sense to me is them letting their best receiver (Holmes) go when they have a young QB that needs help. Maybe they feel their other WRs can hold it down
