I just copped a XS sedan 2 months ago and it's :ahh:I imagine the coupe is the same. The design is ancient yet they still look good in my opinion. Good performance and way cheaper than the Euro competition. It's a lot of car for the money. I can't comment on maintenance costs yet but I've read about Nissan dealers doing the exact same work as Infiniti dealers for less.

My only gripe is the automatic transmission is easily confused in stop and go traffic. It upshifts too fast and/or doesn't downshift quick enough in that situation. That's been a minor annoyance for me.

I've had the coupe with a stick since June. No regrets so far besides how goddamn thirsty it is. :dahell:Haven't taken it on any road trips yet but my best tank averaged out to 20 mpg. That exhaust note is :banderas: though. Best stock exhaust I've ever heard on a V-6, I thought it was aftermarket when the salesman cranked it on for me the first time. I agree with what everyone else said so far, and the stock stereo ain't half bad either.

City driving? I'm looking at a G35X and just wonder how much I'll need for the tank. :jbhmm:

If I don't hit the highway on a particular tank I can expect to see the fuel light come on right around 300 miles.

They still come with the Bose system? If so it will give out sooner than later it's been the same since the early 90's Maximas.

Mine has the base model stereo.

Coli Infiniti Brehs........Where do you get your maintenance done?

I've had my g35 s for almost a year.
It's a 2008 with 82K miles on it

:jbhmm: I took it to the dealership last weekend for a standard oil change, and they returned with the following estimate.

Engine Air Filter Replacement 80.00

Power Steering Flush 159.00

Transmission Flush 159.00

Coolant Flush 67.50

Cabin Air Filter Replacement 125.00

Differential Service 67.50

I'm looking at about $658 bucks worth of service, so wanted to know if you guys get your maintenance done at the dealership, or if you had another place that you trust with your whip that could offer me a better deal?

:salute: 'Preciate the help in advance

You should be able to do a coolant flush.... it's messy as fukk but pretty simple. Wait till the car is cool, put a pan under the bottom coolant hose, open the radiator cap, open the bottom coolant hose and let it all drain out.... then put the hose back, fill it up.... run the car for like 30 seconds to let the air bubbles out, fill it up again... do it over and over till you get the air out

Or find an independent shop

I want an S sedan real bad.... gonna see where gas is next summer and probably make that move
