It ain't weird, but it can get a little lonesome if you do it more than once or twice. I find it best if you're going for some kind of main event, like a sporting event, or a concert. And I don't mean some theme park, or museum. But it's always best if you have a few friends there you're going to see, or better if there's a girl in that town you're going to see.
Sometimes it's good traveling with your dog, but it's best if he's well trained. If he's the type that will take off running the first chance he gets, then you may not want to do that too many times. Then you never know what mess he may make when you take him with you to somebodys' house. Then if you're staying in a motel, first you have to find one that allows pets. Then you're scared to leave him alone in the room too long, for example if you're going to a wedding, etc.. You never really know what kind of people be working in those motels, and you don't want your dog getting stolen, or something bad happening to him. And if you're staying in some cheap motel, then you have that much more to worry about, especially if you have an expensive dog. I did that with my dog before, without even knowing I was in the ghetto. Never again. But I digress.
Anyway, you'll find most people don't recommend going on vacation alone, especially if it's like a week or more, because they've done it before. Being alone in that motel can get a little boring if you don't have some major event in that area scheduled. But if you're going to a place like Brazil to spank some hoes, and you know you're way around, then that may be cool. But if you going to a place like that, and don't know your way around, than it can be a little risky. Most cats go there with at least one other person, if it's their first time.
PS. I took my first vacation alone when I came down to Atlanta for a three day weekend. I hit it off real good with a girl I met in Haristons Night Club (now closed). It was picture perfect weather at 3:00am. Coming from the DMV, I felt like I was on a city type island in the middle of the ocean, slobbing down a sister I just met. And she was a good girl with education...I think she had a masters. And I wounded up moving down here like a dumb ass...lol. Her type been long gone since then, or maybe I can't recognized them anymore in the middle of all these new ratchets. Worst case scenario, her type became like one of these new ratchets. Come to think of it, when I was leaning on my car smuggled up with her at 3:00am, I did hear a few brothers walking by whispering negative things behind my back, indicating only losers go to clubs. But that's how too many brothers really are down here, when they see certain brothers getting ready to score. I know people always liked to look down on people who went to clubs, but not while in public, and especially if a brother about to score. That should have been a redflag that I was in the South, but I missed it. I mean why did they need to be all in that. As I remember more and more, I believe I heard this girl saying something about going back to NY, but I don't remember her saying exactly why. But now I know why. Btw, this was the summer of 2005. Anyway, I guess I was right when I said she probably split, because I couldn't find any trace of her when I moved here that following summer.
