Wait, what now? If he's the most dominant white athlete since Bird, and yet Bird was "far from a freak of nature", how exactly could Bird have been the most dominant white athlete over that period in the context of this thread which is about Gronk being the "biggest freak of nature for white athletes ever"? It seems like you're talking about pure, unadulterated athleticism, and therefore Bird's name shouldn't even be in the discussion.

Edit: And if you're talking about white athletes dominating their respective fields, Gretzky and Phelps deserve to be mentioned well before Bird does.
