If you would've read what I was saying we wouldn't be having the back and forth. I've NEVER heard anyone refer to themselves as British. It's about national identity. If you have then that's your experience :yeshrug: . You Scottish, Welsh, English, or Northern Irish. Groundskeeper Willy is an unabashedly Scottish character and @jayshiggs was well within his rights to call the threadstarter out on that. Have a good day. Really i'm just arguing intricacies at this point. I see where you coming from.

I have never called myself English once in my life

You ask me that what are you/where you from type of question you'll get "I'm from England/UK" or "I'm British"
