Someone decided to single out the little black girl and didn’t bother to mention the other little girls in the ad and as a result people just ran with it without doing the proper research similar to what the thread starter did when he started the thread.

I did my research before I made this thread. I saw all the other photos beforehand, H&M already responded to this saying the theme was kids being themselves after school . I just held off on posting all of that

Honestly, black folks just dislike anything that looks pure African.
a young black girl is being represented on a clothing company, and the first thing they notice is how "her hear wasn't done right". aka super perm/straight. That little girl ain't thinking about any of that bullshyt.

if you check the other photos of the other nonblack little girls, their hair were alittle loose too.

They are racist no doubt. But these ghetto parents be letting their kids coming out looking crazy. That's on them. You know your kid is doing a shoot, have them hooked up before they go to the damn shoot.

All 4 need a brush

stop.

first off.

this is genreal speak.
as you nikkaz can not take me personally calling you out.
when you nikkaz do not know how to care for your own hair.
from Twenty plus years of you nikkaz still not being known for your hair. Or even knowing how to have a good hair cut.

which i know from consistent posting on skin and most importantly hair care around here.

so I already know nikkaz do not know their own male hair.
let alone an actual little child's hair. That is a little girl.

if you can not tell the difference between a black child having low quality care on set. In comparison to The other children on set.

you should not be talking.

also, if you wanna talk about children's hair and see my child's first photo. Where I did her hair myself.
I can post a link too.
she won baby of the week at every photographer that took her baby pictures in and across the country.

show and prove.

this is stupid, it could have been styled better, but what's our preoccupation with dumping a whole bunch of hair and "edge taming" (i.e. make it look slick like your hair aint nappy :mjpls:) products into our hair to make it look like something "nicer"?

that's her damn hair, the edges are gonna pop up if you don't slick them back...such is life. seems people are embarrassed about how our hair looks in it's most natural of natural states.

It's clear as day that these big corporations have an agenda against us. My afro is hella nappy but I atleast make use of shea butter and other stuff to give it a healthy and shiny look... fukk H&M I'm still trying to understand why folks are still going Gucci? Have motherfukkers already forgot what Gucci did? Them dudes that were saying boycott Gucci are wearing it all of a sudden. Them fashion folks on insta are major c00ns they wear Gucci as if their lives depend on that brand.

I think it should beg the discussion of the natural hair movement and if a change regarding how we accept and view our hair in all it’s states is needed.
this...a good 75% of the natural hair movement is about tons of products and styles that hide your true texture :dead:

FOH...let this girl live
