It moved to the suburbs and the clubs
I was at my mans house last night and cars of kids were pulling up to his block. He live in a nice neighborhood with huge houses
I guess no one wants to trick and treat in the hood anymore. We use to hit up rowhomes like 50 houses on a block, now they driving to the burbs trick or treating on blocks with like 10 houses on it


When i was out on saturday the whole downtown club district was in costumes

My son’s father took him trick or treating and he said that even the decorated houses didn’t offer candy. My son barely got any candy, a lot of people didn’t participate in certain neighborhoods. Meanwhile my sister said that her house had a ton of kids coming. I kept my lights off because I didn’t get candy this year lol.

No one came to my house last night like no one carmel and had plenty of candy

Nah Halloween is special to me for a number of reasons lol, and I had a ball over the last two days.

Now it's a different kind of fun than I used to have for sure. I can't imagine letting my kids walk the streets by themselves like I used to at their age. Door to door stuff was mostly out of the window even before the pandemic. And since then the big events we go to have been shut down, so what to do?

I set up trick or treat stations inside and outside of the house. Got them costumes that they can (and will) wear all year lol, did scavenger hunts, egg race, Halloween crafts, bingo, watched movies, played among us, did some of the squid games

There was way more people/kids out than I wanted to be bothered with, especially with the weather being not so bad. But I usually want to be bothered with 0 people.

Trick-or-treating looks different from back in the day. Definitely less people in general and parents are gravitating towards controlled environments like Halloween parties.
