For example, look at how Fat Dan lied about Haymon not wanting to work with HBO and how he had zero to do with Khan/Canelo. Look how HBO shyts on black fighters and anything Floyd/showtime/PBC related. Look how they villified Superman for calling out KKK racist ass but SHowtime let Fury have his shine vs Wilder.

I like HBO as well. Their presentation is the best and I have always preferred their commentators...I will freely admit Lampley is stanning a bit too hard now.
They also have Michael Buffer, who on really makes boxing feel like an event and I like Lederman's goofy persona.

That said, my take on your thread was to point out that I think Haymon has the potential to put together the best business plan for boxing and boxers, because everyone else is stuck in the stone age maximizing it for themselves and not allowing boxing to reach its full potential. Imagine if the Warriors and Cavs couldn't play each other because they are in different conferences.

I agree but my point is actually this. You have a handful of promoters that work with PBC on their various networks, most fighters managed by Haymon (pbc). You have a handful of promoters that work with HBO (and their various networks), with most fighters (exceptions of their recent influx of int'l stuff) managed by a handful of managers. On all of that HBO has exclusive deals with fighters, where they can; dictate who they fight, when they fight, if they fight, what weight class they fight at etc. Perfect example is Ward look at whats happening with him. Look what happened to Rigo.

And @desjardins of course I know the difference between the two. The lines are blurred in this situation hence the thread.

I agree PatDan can't control himself. I would never use tragedies to make a point. I mentioned Ali because he was forced to get in the ring even when he was too old. Colon was still an active fighter at fighting age.
