I'm split on this issue, or maybe I'm just negative on both sides. I don't think it's cool that Black QBs only ever get compared to Black QBs (same with white guys in the NBA, but that's another discussion).

At the same time, I've always had a problem with the type of Black dude that says shyt like, "Don't compare to those other Black guys" (in any arena), which always implies that "I'm different" type shyt... especially coming from a guy with a white wife.
