I’m with Bob on this. And I call him that bc that’s what us Skins fans called him back in the day. He absolutely was a ‘cornball brother’ and unlikeble dude —-when he was 22

I now see dude as just being himself. Ask yourself, why is Drake universally considered a cornball but Donald Glover isn’t? Bc he is just being himself. And iirc the last time there was a RG3 thread most people were saying the same, he’s actually funny and likeable now. Oh but now yall hate him all of a sudden

Ryan Clark - like most black people - didn’t like him saying Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark because he knows what she has had to deal with on social media. RGIII despite being told how reckless his tone was - doubled down and that’s why Ryan said what he said. There’s no one regularly talking to black women who would even feel the need to have that take. What is the value in it? He could’ve just said it’s a passionate rivalry. He knew what buttons he was pushing. People call him corny not for his personality at this point entirely - it’s for his entire persona.
