Well, the truth is that this is how 30-year-olds are dressing now, hell, even men and women in their 40s. I see a lot of dudes as old as he dressed just like that.

I'm 29, often on Facebook, so I have a lot of friends who'd be considered “aunties and uncs” on my page; a lot of them dress like him, but also just like the lady in the video giving him the critique.

The days when our elders, men and women, 35+-year-olds wore mature clothing, y'know, like sweater vests, slacks, overalls, neutral colors, etc., went out of style a long time ago. Nowadays, men and women in their mid-30s and up are dressing like they're still in their mid-20s wearing Jordans, designer gear, flashy bright colors, etc.

He dresses like a man who still hangs on the “block/around the way,” if you know what I mean. I'm not saying that he does, but the clothes give off an impression that he's got that street/hood aesthetic going on, and that's likely why she wasn't interested.

I'm guessing the woman in the video wants her man to dress more sophisticated, not necessarily suit and tie shyt but none of that flashy colors, designer, etc shyt he got on, rather something more maturely neutral and muted.

See this is what I’m talking about. You can do this. People pulling out chukka boots and hard bottom shoes and shyt. Just keep it simple! People have jumped the shark with this shyt anyway. Can’t even wear a decent polo with jeans anymore cause “I ain’t fresh?” Meanwhile cuz in the OP really is dressing like his generation is probably dressing now because that’s how they dressed 10-15 years ago. His fit looks crazy but I’m not mad at him for wearing it. I mean people are barely showing these kids how to dress these days without showing these extreme ass examples.. Just show people pics like in this post and life can go on.

These are High Value Man fits more than 30+ fits :mjlol:

Looking like you're heading to or leaving the office when you're just out and about is doing too much. You don't need to be that image conscious if you're just chilling.

Some men feel like they need to dress like this all the time. Whole wardrobe is collared shirts, chinos, hard bottoms or dress shoe/sneaker hybrids, cologne, and Bohemian jewelry to accessorize. All that just to go out bowling. They're projecting an image.

Comfortable, well fitted, non loud clothing is the main thing for being age appropriate. Like you said joggers can be fine. It's all how you wear it.

I'll give her she's cute 'n hefty, but thats it :francis:

Passing criticism whilst dressed stank her own self makes one dusty:unimpressed:

That lil one minute interaction is the general problem with women in a nutshell..
Shes talking like you'd think she came in wearing a dinner gown..:dahell:

On a average day im dressed in the finest of Costco sweats/Joggers with running shoes, with a basic ass T shirt

On a date I'd take the Costco joggers off but it still probably wouldnt be polos and slacks.

I dont see the point in wearing polos and slacks if its not in some type of way a professional environment. Im 35

35 ain’t old... for a man. His fit is some NPC shyt though. Look like one of those aggressive shoe shine kiosk boys at every mall in America. It’s not what you wear, but how you wear it. If you a OG, it’s ok to be an OG. I’ve seen much worse, nikkas literally 55 wearing head to toe LV and Gucci. Senior citizens wearing the latest big stupid thousand dollar designer shoe everyday working a retail job someone fresh outta high school would work being a work husband to some 24 year old co worker bird.

I’m 42. I’ll wear a varsity jacket with some J’s and jeans. But it would be a 1 of 1 custom made varsity jacket, it’s that 80’s era Bay nikka in me. And the varsity jacket wouldn’t fit all tight unless it was a made in Italy piece like a Saint Laurent teddy jacket. And the jeans wouldn’t be tight and have some stack. And I would wear a fitted, no country ass trucker hats. It ain’t what you do it’s how it’s done.
