No. I think she's done, the stress of a political campaign, I think it too much for her health.

The Democratic Party really needs some new blood at this point.

i don't see her running again.
after the way she and the DNC fukked over Bernie and then the loss to Trump her name is mud.

then again, if someone told me 4 years ago that Trump would be president i would have laughed at them.
whoever is running this simulation is going full retard.

There's absolutely no way she's running again.

That said, the DNC definitely needs some new blood. Bernie is too old and nobody else really stands out at the moment. But then again four years is a long time.

more importantly (or at least as important) than the dems cultivating a good candidate to go against trump in 2020, is helping elevate a conservative rival against trump to split the vote.... the last two presidents that didn't get reelected failed because of a primary challenge (carter) or a strong third party challenger (ghwb)....

there is a reason why neither the republicans nor the democrats allow third party candidates at the presidential debates.... there was also a very conscious decision to not primary obama in 2012.... bottom line, to beat trump in 2020, somewhere there has to be a significant (10% or something around there) division among conservative support for him... otherwise, he's pretty much a shoo-in for reelection....

Honestly, they'd probably have to pull defeat from the jaws of victory (ie. 2016 again) for Trump to win considering he's historically unpopular.

If turnout was at 2012 levels, Clinton would've won, and the racist white base is pretty much maxed out. The Dems main issue is turnout; if they actually get people to vote they'll win even if conservative support for Trump is the same.

dems are quite adept at doing that though.... i don't believe the polls though.. here's the problem, trump is unpopular, but those who are right leaning see dems as far worse... that is the part of the polling that was missed.... conserves are coming home to vote republican no matter what... you're right about the voting levels, but conservative votes are reliable... dem votes, not so much.... also, let's not overlook infrastructure.... while repubs control everything they can employ all manor of voter suppression tactics (and they only need to do this in a few swing states) to tilt the scales in their favor....

i really don't have faith that trump can be defeated for a whole host of reasons.... dems need a really good 2018 and some new blood has to rise to the top.... no diss to bernie, but he is old... maybe there is someone waiting in the shadows with his qualities that is younger..... trump has a lot of good things going for him considering he has the power of the presidency and is being normalized everyday... one negative he now has though, is he now has a record.... if conservative voters can be split just by say 10%, the dem would cost to victory....

good points as always acri1, i was enjoy reading your posts....

Yep you right The Dems got reckless for years and banked too much on Obama and Hillary

All the names they are naming for 2020 are the same stiff type of politicians as Hillary...

People SAY they want normalcy especially after Trump but no they want the same fresh blood and something excites them, they just want a rival for Trump.. Maybe there is an answer right in front of us some of us are not thinking about..for all we know it could end up being another celebrity. I have heard rumors about Mark Zuckerberg and that would be something but he is too much of a wimp and would get exposed. It would be another Lincoln Chaffe moment. Remember that fool?

You know what i will just say it im dead serious that i think George Clooney is running in 2020 and has a strong chance of winning the nomination

:russ:

if anyone believes this nonsense 6 months into Trump America you fukking stupid. b

Dudes still stuck on this illuminati shyt that they read on yahoo answers archived posts from 2007 even after Trump just won..
