It is just us or has hip-hop traveled back in time? With recent headlines of OutKast reconnecting, G-Unit reuniting, and J. Lo performing with Ja Rule; it's almost as if hip-hop has reverted back to the early 2000s. As much more has also went down like Jay Z connecting with Dame Dash late last year and talk circulating of Dipset releasing a comeback LP; it's hard not to wonder if one can soon expect sounds from 10 years ago to rearise. hip hop in the early 00s actually had some talented artists even if the genre was starting to get watered down.

and hip hop actually mattered in the mainstream back then.. nowadays its nowhere to be found on the charts/radio/clubs
