I’ve listened, but as a hip-hop head I like to understand the shyt I listen to. Although hip-hop has fallen from like 90% of my play time to like 10% excluding gym — so really, for me it’s just about dead.

Having a few big acts and one genre in a population of like 6-700 million might not necessarily mean that the genre is bigger than a genre with very many acts of varying size on an aggregate basis.

Hip hop been stale lately the last few years man.......it's no wonder why spanish artists like Bad bunny, Maluma, etc are out streaming Drake and others.

I don't have the same feeling with these new artists now as when other young artists debuted back in the day like Cole, Lupe, Kendrick, etc with all their dope mixtapes and stuff.
