Of course. Homosexuality occurs in all human populations.

Hatred towards homosexuals on the other hand is almost entirely owned (historically) by Europeans and Muslim Arabs though.

Much homophobia towards homosexuals in Africa specifically is the result of a moral code imported from European Christianity and forced upon the population.

I really doubt that. Do you have non-white non-gay sources to provide evidence of this?

Yeah! There is no proof of Homosexuality in African historically

It is an imported ideology from the western world. Thats why it is only being talked about now...

It shouldn't be an important topic to who?

Africa has yet to industrialize in the modern world which is a MUST. A good amount of Africans live in extreme poverty(seen this shyt first hand), large scale corruption, hardly any intra trade, lack of infrastructure and lack of stable institutions. And yet people wanna focus ln homosexuality which is a developed country issue.

All developing countries should focus on the REAL issues before first world issues.

What the fukk do gays have to do with modernization? Like are Africans burning gay people to generate electricity or something? Are gay people drinking up all the clean water and hogging all the medicine? This shyt you're saying doesn't make any sense...

As stated previously by others the only thing that is unnatural in Africa is religious fundamentalism, homophobia and violence against the disenfranchised (women, LGBT, children, disabled).

And as a Zimbabwean, My understanding why there are no words for gay is because aren’t as obsesssed with labels as whites. We didn’t need to name it, it just was what it was and is what it is. Same as how we cannot name the great artists of African antiquity. Not because they didn’t exist but they didn’t feel the need to write their names on everything.

What is unnatural in Africa is the hate of others.

I have no problem with this but I personally feel like these issues are unnecessary.

"Homosexuality" and "Heterosexuality" as identities weren't in the West either until the mid-19th century. Until then, sexual acts were sexual acts and sexual desires were sexual desires.

That's not to say that many people didn't believe that same-sex acts were wrong. That's been true for millennia. But the idea of framing an entire identity around your sexual impulses is new.
