What's crazy is Houston has always been known for robberies more than murders. In recent years that has changed.

A lot of non-college degree jobs are slowly returning but not at a fast rate. You have weird bond rules and a lot judges arent within holding bond on people with violent felons.

Ultimately crime pays in Houston due to the lack of good paying jobs of all education levels.

Also Houston is a VERY poorly lit city. I could kill someone and dump them off at a park with no cameras or witnesses.

Judicial system is very bias with major holes in it.

For instance, I'm dealing with a DWI (0.09 from concussion) from 3 years ago for a Mexican doing a hit and run on me leaving me unconscious.

If I was conscious and drove the fukk off or had 5 stacks up front, this would've been wiped off my record. If this was in another state, they would've looked at this as a hit and run and noticed the elevated spike from the concussion after busting the windows open to pull me out.
