Above the fray.
Talked to an Howard alum buddy of mine. He said that Howard should’ve been addressed this but the students were doing too much.
Not surprised. Generally campus protests follow a pattern.
Natural leaders emerge, and so do the ones who want to be "all in the video, all on the record".
Speaking of which, a generation ago there were protests at the same school. One of the natural leaders who emerged was Ras Baraka . And Sean Combs, a NATURAL businessman, collected newspaper clippings of the protests, made laminated posters, and sold them to his classmates.

*Ras likes to be all up in the video, all on the record too, but we like him.

But, seriously, some ambitious kids see the protests as a springboard to future career in politics / activism. Your buddy's take rings true.

Scratching my head seeing reports of the students still camped out in tent cities. Read multiple articles that mentioned that Corvias Inc handles the property maintenance for the dorms. The President of Howard is responsible for not addressing the students' health and safety concerns. I was trying to figure why he wasn't pressing the company to come in and fix the leaks/mold/rodent problems. Or use their performance as breach of contract to cut ties with them.

But then I read the description of the arrangement between Howard and Corvias, and it looks like a 360 deal.

Damn Kamala Harris could not help her HBCU:ohhh:

I though Kamala was walking in the foot steps of Ruby Bridges:mjlol::
