Greed, selfishness, vanity...all built in features, not bugs.
Problem is, we're so self-absorbed we're taught to treat them as perks.

im not wired like other ppl im glad i was raised properly but not submitting to mainstream culture is always putting a magnifying glass on yourself and makes you look “weird” amongst familiar crowds
ppl piss me off every day with their stupidity and judgements when they’re clearly LACKING in their own corner

There are a lot of movies by the way that point out the absurdity of humans. Kubrick for example was good at doing that in his movies.

I'll say this as well, for all the batshyt crazy stuff you read on something like Twitter, realize that at 400 million users it's still only 20% of the world and only 20% of American adults are on it. Additionally, when you keep in mind there are many sane people on that platform, it's actually not as many as crazy people as some may think, again they're only the loudest.
One thing I've learned it being social media, interacting with Linkedin more than something like Twitter provides a much more realistic, balanced, professional and tranquil view of the world. I actually think Linkedin is an awesome site because people do somewhat feel casual, however they must be socially responsible because their reputations are really on the line. Not to mention Linkedin's user base is actually x2 of what Twitter's is and maybe even more because many of those Twitter accounts are people's 3rd maybe 4th sockpuppet account, while Linkedin for the most part are real people.

True, the online skew can warp perceptions if you don't know that its a bunch of alts sitting in the basement making up most of the traffic.
What I'm speaking on is more deep rooted. Like a landfill, for example, what kind of genius would think thats a smart move? Humanity as a collective is so myopic and the way the forced perspective of mainstream thinking works it discourages critical thought whilst making it virtually impossible to implement.

Its often said that politics is the conspiracy of the unproductive but organized against the productive but unorganized. This is true but its system and it seems like life pulls most down to its level and keeps them there, easily.
Yet none dare call it conspiracy...

Because we share a common ancestor with bonobos our nature is still overruled by instinct (amygdala). The amygdala is where emotions are processed.
Our prefrontal cortex gives us the ability to think critically, but like any skill, if it’s not exercised it goes out of use.
Then you have nature or nurture where environment and genetics dictates behavior.
Every ism committed by a human is not innate but programmed. A human can be civil or evil based what it’s social programming

Thats what I'm saying about the programming. So few see it and fewer still are willing to flip the script by turning their awareness within and examining what was penned back when as their default operating system. The fact people live and die based on imaginary concepts that have never been reality tested is wild.
And yet, that is exactly how it is.

In many ways the past is always present when it comes to multi generational trauma and that really is whats at the heart of this nuttiness as something F'd up obviously happened to the collective back when that wasn't dealt with as now proves.
Mankind is engaged in a war with the planet and its so smoothly orchestrated that you cannot help but notice the intelligence behind it because everyone seems to turn a blind eye to it as it doesn't directly concern them. Or so they think. Or don't because they're lost in the whirlwind and this isn't a message which is part of the regularly scheduled programming.
Yet. But it can be. If you want.
