Just uploaded my resume to see who responds. Anyone have success with this platform?
Bro as others have mentioned do directly to the source (the job posting website) and apply directly. I had mentees upload their CV and all that thorugh it and it’s shytty. Just go to that site to get job posting and then go directly to the site and apply via their mechanism. And in a situation they don’t have a link or posting, I would recommend you contacting them directly and asking them how they prefer you apply then just conceding and applying via Indeed. Best of luck I genuinely wish you the best

They have a nice sleek way of distributing your resume. That caught my attention. I put my bid in to two options. I'll see what happens. Thanks for all the feedback.

Best bet is a govt job, then you bounce after a year and work for a big corp.
Indeed, it depends. I've gotten decent internships and sales jobs when I really needed it but honestly, it also served as the main reason that I removed my phone from my resume because I kept getting Scam Likely's on my phone.

If you went to school, your college also usually has a career page. But, eh, I would say apply if you'd like, but you're gonna get a better chance if you search out job fairs and government websites.

I use LinkedIn and Indeed to find a job, but go to the company site to apply directly. I will use the info from my profile to import into the application if I can.

I have heard people find jobs on LinkedIn but there's a lot of fukkery on there too. I remember meeting a recruiter who told me to just add people and trade endoresements with strangers. I had already had it happening, but for someone who was trying to find me work, I thought it was strange that she was endorsing this as an idea. It's basically the professional version of Instagram lol

shyt is trash. I uploaded my resume, refined it, and no one ever reaches out :francis: I don't even apply thru then unless I absolutely have to-- which is only when I can't google the company/job on their website.
