PAp is not beautiful but the rest of the country is. There are some nice parts of pap like pietionville has nice parts... and the parts where all those UN ngo nikkaz live.

There is lot of truth to this. I was there in 04. Opened the paper to look at the chamber of commerce pic, and it was one dark skin cat (Sineas I think) and 12 mixed dudes. These mixed families are like the fortune 500 companies in the USA and abroad. These dudes drive these tinted out, AC blasting, 4x4's down from the mountains to go their factories/stores right in the slums. The worse sight was cat who sells supplies to those ladies that sell stuff on the streets and sidewalks just mean mugging his clientele he didn't or couldn't even hide his disdain for them. At the same time he had Porsche cayenne Cayenne Turbo S parked on top of a pile of trash and mud.

Yes of course there's some truth to it but the issue is very complex. There might be a lightskinned cat there in that position now but not all those lightskinned cats come from those families. Also those families are not french so it's not really a french mentality.. it's just a divisive mentality. The politicians are responsible because they don't allow any progress unlessthey get a cut, the families are also responsible because they cockblock new industry and do it every generation and they also control politicians by throwing money around, the NGO's are responsible because they siphon aid mone..so if one day haiti is fixed they won't have any money to live like fukking kings in Haiti... so they make sure shyt doesn't get fixed. So there's tons of groups who have no motive to fix Haiti because they make money off the place being in chaos... and they aren't going down without a fight.

I'm actually involved in many private projects to fix Haiti, my family built 4 hospitals that got flattened on the day of the earthquake before they could even open(building codes in Haiti are non existant so they were not up to snuff). Right now the world bank is holding all the Aid money in escrow, and will not distribute the funds until the president signs off on it... Do you know how hard that is? First you gotta introduce the plan to a minister or senator so he can let you speak to the president... so he wants a cut, the next guy wants a cut, the pres wants a cut... then since everyone wants a cut it makes the project not feasible and puts it on hold. These nikkaz dont give a fukk about fixing Haiti bruh... if they not getting they cut they're like fukk it. I know of over 10 projects on pause because of this... the mentality out there is like give me half...... they're not ok with 2-3% ...even tho 2-3% of a lot ... is A LOT... 50% of nothing ..is nothing.

At this point I wouldn't mind if foreigners ran Haiti as long as Haitians got 50% and had jobs for everyone.. because if you leave it up to these motherfukkers nothing will ever get done... nothing bruh,it's very frustrating. Even the people are at fault in a way, because the literacy rate is going down... Haitians used to be dubbed "the intellectuals of the carribbean" now motherfukkers can't read...but all the older so called intellectuals all cling to these so called politicall affiliations and reminisce of better times... but the better times are mostly in their head... the leaders they romanticize about were fukked up too. This is another part of the problem cuz they can't see the forest from the trees...they don't see that no mtter what politicians they pick it's gonna be the same.

Honestly, I think waiting for political reform is a long battle. I appreciate your vision though. If you look at most Latin American/African countries you can see this situation can go on for generations. For me I think decentralizing Haiti is the solution. I have already given up on Port-au-Prince tbh. I think building the economies of the other regions is an easier solution. The north and south are less populated,less corrupt, more organized, have more natural resources ( for tourism, manufacturing etc). I've been to DR,Jamaica, and Mexico and you can see that the do not treat the capitals like the heart of these nations. From Montego Bay, Punta Cana,Cancun areas, they just do their own thing. Am sure there kickback game is still there but that is happening in the USA as well in one form or another.
