Is it a general consensus that Purple Haze is Cam'ron's best album?

He got too goofy, and the production slacked around this time.....He was sharper and more focused with better production in the 2002 days. I liked 'Purple Haze' a lot, at the time, but it hasn't aged well for the most part.....It needed at least 8-10 tracks cut, and though it has some really nice bars, it's an average album, and probably the last time Cam was really great as an artist, he lost it after this project, as far as I was concerned. It did have some shyt I really loved at the time...it was the extreme point of the Diplomats Cam, he just went off the deep end....

'Live My Life' (Leave Me Alone 2') was my favorite track....'Andrenaline' too

Plus it was in the midst of Dipset's peak from what I remember... very important album and very GOOD album.

Only one that comes close IMO is SDE and that's really a matter of taste. I prefer PH

Cam was on a different planet in that era. I still think JR Writer was sharpening his pen game but that's for another time

i think its definitely cam best album and cam at his peak as a rapper....and it just epitomize cams style its a lil wild, lil off the wall, got a few moments on there where even as a big cam fan you go , but at the end of the day () the shyt is just entertaining as hell. I can listen to the whole thing all the way thru (yes even girls and hey lady)

SDE has more nostalgia for me. PH was great but I'm factoring in nostalgia.
