I am a very big Lil Wayne fan but I'll probably never paid for any of those albums over again because of that interview but I can't lie....I kinda have the same attitude when it comes to work. fukk em all if it don't directly affect my life or money

There's no financial incentive to stand up for social causes for a rich person, complete neutrality and maintaining the status quo is the best decision if you look at it fiancially. So it takes courage to be willing to take the hit, deal with the backlash but doing the right thing.
